| Obverse description | Printed in blue-grey and brown on cream paper, the face is enclosed within an ornate foliate border with circular denomination cartouches reading '80' at each corner, surrounding a central line-engraved landscape vignette of Hotel FM. Radetzky set against wooded hillsides with a caption beneath the frame. | Reverse description | Printed in reddish-brown on cream paper, the back is organised into three panels framed by dotted ornamental borders: the left and right panels carry bilingual promotional text in German extolling the scenic and therapeutic attributes of Hinterbrühl near Vienna, while the central panel contains a fine line-engraved vignette of Burg Mödling within a rectangular frame above the printer's imprint. The validity legend 'Laufzeit bis 30. September 1920.' runs across the full width at the top, with 'HINTERBRÜHL' and 'NÖSTERREICH' inscribed at the outer edges. |
