| Obverse description | Central vignette presents a photographic reproduction of the interior of the Admont Abbey Library (Stiftsbibliothek), one of the world's largest monastic libraries, rendered in a grey-green tonal print and framed by a ruled border. The denomination numeral '80' appears in large bold type within octagonal frames at left and right, flanked by vertical side panels bearing floral vignettes of edelweiss in ornamental urns. A two-part motto in Gothic script runs along the lower margin, interrupted at centre by the Admont municipal heraldic device. |

| Reverse description | The upper portion is divided into three registers: an oval vignette at left enclosing a chamois on a rocky alpine outcrop, a central text panel carrying a lengthy poem in Gothic blackletter script, and an oval vignette at right enclosing a still-life of wine bottles and glasses within a barrel-vaulted cellar setting. Below the poem, a panoramic mountain landscape vignette spans the full width of the note, above three manuscript facsimile signatures with printed titles identifying the Bürgermeister, Bürgermeister-Stellvertreter, and Zahlmeister. A printed legal notice in small type at the foot of the note cites the government decree of 18 August 1920 prohibiting the issuance of cash notes, designating this piece for collectors' purposes only. |
