| Obverse description | A large, finely rendered fleur-de-lis occupies the central field, the traditional heraldic emblem of Florence, rendered in high relief with elaborate scrollwork and foliate detail. The mint mark 'N' appears at the base of the fleur-de-lis. The surrounding legend reads the full Latin titulature of Grand Duke Leopold II, arranged clockwise around the periphery of the coin. |
