Reverse description The reverse depicts a traditional Spanish folk scene inspired by Francisco de Goya's painting 'El Pelele' (The Puppet), in which four women dressed in period costumes toss a male puppet figure — rendered in mid-air above them — on a blanket held taut between them. The scene is finely engraved with rich detail in the figures' clothing and postures, evoking an 18th-century festive atmosphere. Below the central design, the Barcelona 1992 Olympic rings privy mark and the Madrid mint mark appear. The surrounding legend reads XXV OLIMPIADA BARCELONA 1992 along the upper arc and XX 80000 PTAS along the lower arc, separated by decorative dots.
