Reverse description A standing female figure, personifying Fame or Victory, is depicted nude with billowing drapery, standing atop a globe and set within a large crescent moon occupying the central field. The date 1641 (or 1642) appears divided on either side of the central device. The denomination VIII (8) is indicated within the legend, which reads the royal monetary authority inscription in Latin, all enclosed between inner and outer beaded circles.
