| Obverse description | Central field features the interlaced and mirrored royal cypher of King Frederik IV — the conjoined letters F and 4 in elaborate script — surmounted by a large royal crown with arched top. The monogram occupies the majority of the flan and is rendered in high relief with fine baroque detailing. A circular Latin legend surrounds the central device along the periphery, reading DOMINUS MIHI ADIUTOR (God be my helper), with dot stops separating the inscription at the base. |

| Reverse description | The reverse carries a four-line inscription in the open field, presenting the denomination and currency designation in the first two lines, followed by the four-digit date on the third line, and the mintmaster's initials H·C·M on the fourth and lowermost line. The lettering is bold and upright, consistent with early eighteenth-century Scandinavian minting practice, with no additional decorative elements save for small decorative stars flanking the denomination numeral at the top. |
