| Obverse description | Central crowned royal cypher of King Frederik III rendered in small format, enclosed within a solid inner ring. The field between the inner ring and a beaded circle carries the legend, with a beaded border at the rim. The monogram, composed of the interlaced initials of the king, is surmounted by a royal crown of Danish style. The date of issue appears as part of the obverse inscription rather than in the exergue, a typological feature distinguishing this as Type I. |
