A small circular element appears at the apex of the cap. The denomination and mint data are inscribed along the lower periphery in a curved legend, with the date 1831, mint initial Dº (Durango), assayer initials R.L., fineness 10 Ds., and weight 20 Gs. clearly legible. The entire design is enclosed within a reeded outer rim.
