Reverse description The denomination OCHO REALES is inscribed in two lines at the centre of the field, enclosed within a robust wreath of oak leaves tied at the base with a ribbon. Flanking the sides of the wreath are two small floral or pomegranate ornaments. The peripheral legend reads BOGOTA at the top and LEI 0,900 at the bottom, indicating the mint city and the intended silver fineness of the proposed currency. A dentilated border encircles the entire reverse design.
