| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of Ferdinand VII facing right, rendered in the first portrait style with naturalistically engraved hair swept back in loose waves. The mint mark 'J' for Jubia appears to the left of the effigy, and the denomination numeral '8' to the right. The date 1815 is placed in the lower field below the bust. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait within a toothed inner border and a milled rim. |
