| Obverse description | Central shield bearing the Nuremberg arms (a divided field with a bend sinister and an eagle) set within a beaded inner circle. Above the shield, the denomination mark 'K.' and value 'VIII.' appear in the upper field. The date 1704 is divided by the shield, with '17' to the left and '04' to the right.
