Obverse description Central crowned coat of arms of Spain, displaying the quartered royal escutcheon with castles and lions, enclosed within an inner beaded collar and surrounded by the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The shield is surmounted by a royal crown. The legend encircles the device in the outer field, separated by small quatrefoil ornaments. The entire design is rendered in high relief characteristic of Segovia milled coinage.
