| Obverse description | Draped armored bust of King Fernando VII facing right, with hair tied at the nape and dressed in military attire with elaborate shoulder armor and a ribbon at the neck. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the neoclassical style typical of Spanish colonial coinage. The circular legend reads FERDIN•VII•D•G•HISP•ET•IND•R•, and the mint date appears in the exergue below the portrait. A toothed border frames the entire design. |
