Reverse description The crowned quartered Royal Arms of Spain displayed at center, featuring the castles of Castile and the lions of León in the principal quarters, with the pomegranate of Granada at the base and the fleurs-de-lis of the Bourbon dynasty in the escutcheon of pretence. The shield is encircled by the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece, its pendant fleece visible at the base. A large ornate royal crown surmounts the shield. The circumferential legend NOMINA MAGNA SEQUOR arcs around the upper field, with the Santiago mint mark So and assayer initial J, each flanked by rosette stops, positioned in the lower field.
