Obverse description Right-facing draped bust of King Fernando VI wearing a flowing curled wig and armored shoulders, rendered in high relief with fine detail. The royal effigy occupies the majority of the field, with the milled border running closely around the periphery. The encircling Latin legend reads FERDND VI D G HISPAN ET IND REX, interrupted by pellet stops. The date 1758 appears in the lower exergual area flanked by rosette stops, below the king's truncation.
