Reverse description The crowned royal arms of Spain, comprising a quartered shield displaying the castles of Castile and the lions of León, enclosed within the collar and badge of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The shield is flanked by decorative foliate sprays and surmounted by a royal crown. The mint mark 'Mo' (Mexico City) and assayer initials appear in the fields to either side of the shield. The reverse legend NOMINA MAGNA SEQUOR arcs across the upper field, with mint marks repeated in the lower legend.
