| Reverse description | The entire reverse field is occupied by a multi-line commemorative inscription in German, arranged in curved lines that taper toward the base, without any figural devices. The text records the cession of Stettin and the district between the Oder and the Pehne rivers from Sweden to Prussia, and the subsequent rendering of homage by the subjects on 10 August 1721. The inscription is engraved in bold capital letters in a clear, formal hand consistent with early eighteenth-century German medallic practice. The date 1721 appears at the foot of the inscription. The milled border frames the text on all sides. |
