Obverse description Three conjoined laureate and draped busts facing right, representing the Holy Roman Emperors Maximilian I, Charles V, and Ferdinand I, each wearing an imperial crown and displaying the collar and badge of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The effigies are rendered in high relief within a beaded inner circle, with the dynastic legend commencing at 12 o'clock and continuing around the full circumference of the coin.
