| Reverse description | Double-headed imperial eagle displayed, each head surmounted by a crown, with a third larger imperial crown above the whole, the eagle's wings spread and detailed with fine feather engraving. On the eagle's breast, a crowned shield bearing the arms of Regensburg is surrounded by the collar and chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The encircling Latin legend honors the Holy Roman Emperor Joseph II. The overall design reflects the high-relief baroque engraving tradition of Imperial German coinage of the period. |
