Reverse description The reverse presents a dynamic depiction of a dragon sinuously coiling across a stylised sky, rendered in celebration of the 2024 Lunar New Year. The creature extends its claws toward two auspicious motifs: a flowering plum blossom branch, symbolising resilience, vitality, and courage, and a decorative lantern bearing the Chinese character 龍 (Dragon). The legend CANADA and the denomination 8 DOLLARS are inscribed along the periphery, with the year 2024 and the engraver's initials AC also present in the field.
