Reverse description The central design features two adult Australian Wedge-Tailed Eagles (Aquila audax) and a chick rendered in exceptional high relief. A large adult eagle dominates the foreground, perched protectively over a nest with a downy chick at lower left, its head inclined toward the eaglet; a second adult eagle is depicted in full flight with wings outstread in the upper field. The legend AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE arcs along the upper border, while the inscription 2018 5OZ 9999 SILVER appears in the lower exergue, and the Perth Mint's P mintmark is positioned at the right inner border.
