Obverse description Ultra high relief effigy of King Charles III, uncrowned, facing left, rendered in fine sculptural detail with naturalistic hair and collar, after the first portrait of the King used on Australian coinage designed by Dominic Tassone. The legend CHARLES III arcs along the upper left field and AUSTRALIA along the upper right, both in raised capital letters. The denomination 8 DOLLARS appears in two lines along the lower arc, flanked by raised dot stops. The engraver's initials DT appear incuse in the lower right of the truncation.

Reverse description Ultra high relief depiction of an Australian Wedge-tailed Eagle (Aquila audax) rendered in striking three-dimensional detail, shown with wings fully extended and swept upward, body turned slightly to the right, head facing left with hooked beak prominent. The eagle stands on a ground line, its powerful talons clearly delineated, with individual feathers meticulously sculpted across the wings, breast, and back. The Perth Mint's P mintmark appears in the lower left field, and the engraver's initials JM are incuse at the right inner border. The legend AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE curves along the upper border, while the inscription 2025 5oz 9999 SILVER is placed along the lower exergual area.
