Obverse description Central device depicts the Lion and Sun emblem of Imperial Iran: a passant lion in profile facing right, holding an upright sword in its right forepaw, with a radiant rising sun behind its back and a royal crown above. The denomination appears below the central device in both Persian numerals (۷۵۰ ریال) and Western numerals (750 RIALS), followed by the dual dates 1971 and ۱۳۵۰. A continuous decorative border of stylized floral or geometric ornaments encircles the entire design. The Persian royal legend naming Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, Aryamehr, and Shahanshah of Iran arcs across the upper field within the border.
