| Obverse description | The State Emblem of India — the Lion Capital of Ashoka — is depicted centrally in high relief, showing three lions atop an abacus bearing the Dharma Chakra flanked by a horse and bull, above the national motto in Devanagari script. The legend 'भारत' appears vertically along the left rim and 'INDIA' vertically along the right rim in large incuse lettering.
