| Obverse description | The upper portion carries a Gothic-script text block naming the issuing institution and denomination, with the town name 'Guhrau' rendered in large decorative lettering flanked by 'Bezirk Breslau'. Städtische Sparkasse Guhrau — the municipal savings bank of Guhrau, a small Silesian town now known as Góra in western Poland — issued this 75 Pfennig note as Notgeld during the post-WWI currency crisis, when small-denomination coins had effectively vanished from circulation. Flemming-Wiskott in nearby Glogau printed a substantial volume of Silesian Notgeld during this period, supplying municipalities that lacked any realistic alternative to local emergency issue.
The 75 Pfennig denomination is among the less common face values in Notgeld series, where 25, 50, and 1 Mark notes dominated.
