Obverse description The obverse is divided into two vertical panels. The left panel bears a yellow-orange underprint composed of a repeating diagonal text pattern, over which the bold Gothic-script legend 'Notgeld der Stadt Pößneck' is printed in black. At the foot of this panel sits the municipal coat of arms of Pößneck — a turreted shield charged with a black lion on a blue field, flanked by laurel branches — with the printer's imprint 'Kühlborn · Pößneck' below. The right panel has a pale blue wavy-line guilloche ground, with the denomination numeral '75' in teal at each corner; a central lozenge-shaped vignette in olive-green contains a circular medallion with the value '75 Pf' in white Gothic script on a black field, surrounded by ornamental tooling. The lower portion carries a two-line manuscript signature above the legend 'Magistrat und Gemeinderat:'.

Reverse description The reverse presents a full-width colour vignette of a hand-loom weaver seated at a large wooden floor loom in a workshop interior, rendered in a detailed letterpress illustration with brown, yellow, and blue tones against a light background. The four corners each carry a black hexagonal badge bearing the denomination '75 Pf' in teal. Surrounding the central scene on all four sides, a green border carries a continuous German verse in black Gothic script: 'Ob von der Hand gewebt wie einst, ob mit Maschinen hergestellt — stets galt und gilt Pößneck's Flanell als beste Ware in der Welt.' A small monogram device appears at the lower right outside the border.
