Reverse description The reverse presents a multicolour engraved panoramic vignette of Swakopmund in German South West Africa, framed by tall palm trees at left and right and low-growing succulent plants in the foreground. A colonial-era public building with a tower occupies the left middle ground, with a lighthouse rising behind it against a blue sky, and further colonial structures visible to the right. In the foreground, a lone male figure in colonial attire stands on a sandy path bordered by a formal garden. At centre bottom, a small oval medallion contains a paired portrait vignette. The denomination '75 PFENNIG' appears in each corner within a decorative golden border, and the place name 'SWAKOPMUND' is lettered along the lower margin.
