| Obverse description | The note is presented as a set of three equal vertical strips, cut from a complete 100 Mark Gutschein issued by Stadt Düren, each section retaining a portion of the original design. The central strip carries the bold Fraktur legend 'Stadt Düren' at the top and the denomination inscription 'Gutschein über Hundert Mark' in large Gothic blackletter type against a rust-orange guilloche underprint. A two-line text clause in small Gothic script references legal tender validity and the date 'Düren, den 8. April 1922', with a manuscript signature of the Oberbürgermeister at lower right of the central panel. |
