Obverse description The central vignette, rendered in a woodcut-style multicolour letterpress in ochre, red, and grey tones, presents a full-length figure of Martin Luther in the guise of Junker Jörg — bearded, dressed in a long robe, and holding a sword and a book marked with a cross — set against a stained-glass-style geometric background. The denomination '75' appears in red at upper left and lower left corners, with the designer's signature 'HEINZ SCHIESTL' inscribed vertically along the left margin. A decorative floral rose motif in red occupies the lower right, flanked by foliate border panels at top and bottom.

Reverse description The central composition presents a bust portrait of Richard Wagner flanked by two lateral vignettes: the Wartburg castle to the left and the castle entrance (Burgeingang) to the right, with the Eisenach city coat of arms below the portrait. Inscriptions are arranged around the design identifying the depicted subjects and stating the redemption terms of the Notgeld voucher.
