| Obverse description | The obverse is set within a dark ruled border with a warm ochre and rose multicolour underprint. A central vignette rendered in letterpress shows a winged putto in flight, writing with a quill on a large open book or scroll, with a decorative inkwell and foliage to the left. The denomination numeral '75' appears in a circular cartouche to the right, with 'Pfennig' inscribed below it. The year '1921' and a serial number are printed in the lower centre and lower right respectively, flanked by horizontal ruled bands, while the town name 'FREIENWALDE' runs in large bold letters across the foot of the note and 'NOTGELDSCHEIN' across the top. |
