| Obverse description | Multicolour Notgeld note printed in ochre, teal, and brown, with a dark hatched border of stylised leaf and zigzag motifs enclosing a central vignette. A large decorative numeral '75' in ochre occupies the left portion, entwined with grapevine clusters and foliage in the Jugendstil manner; a flowing ribbon in blue and gold arcs across the upper field. The issuer's name 'Marktgemeinde Stammbach' is rendered in ornate Gothic script within a central cartouche, beneath which a three-line validity clause and the date 'Stammbach 1. Sept. 1921' appear alongside a facsimile mayoral signature. |
