| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in black, olive-green, and red on cream paper, with a zigzag border frame. The upper portion carries the title legend in Gothic blackletter script above a broad black horizontal band bearing the denomination numeral '75' within a circular radiate vignette at centre, flanked on the left by 'FÜNF UND SIEBZIG' and on the right by 'PFENNIG' in large olive-green letterpress. Below the band, a red ribbon cartouche bears the place and date of issue, flanking the city's heraldic shield — a rampant lion on red field within green foliate surround — at centre. Redemption conditions are printed in Gothic script at lower left, with the issuing authority designation 'Der Rat:' and two manuscript facsimile signatures at lower right. |
