| Obverse description | Light blue central panel set against a bold red and black geometric diamond-pattern border. At the top centre, a circular red vignette bears the German imperial eagle with the legend MAGISTRAT SCHARMBECK / KREIS OSTERHOLZ around its circumference. The denomination FÜNFUNDSIEBZIG PFENNIG is set in large bold letterpress type across the centre, flanked on each side by orange panels bearing the numeral 75 above the word PFENNIG.
