Oberalm, a small parish in Salzburg province, issued this 75 Heller piece as functional local currency rather than for the collector trade — the so-called "Sammelnotgeld" craze that followed had not yet fully taken hold by 1920, meaning earlier issues like this one were actually spent.
The 75 Heller denomination is an odd choice, sitting awkwardly between more conventional values, which suggests it was calibrated to a specific local pricing need rather than issued as part of a rounded series.
