| Obverse description | Central to the obverse is a stylized Gothic quatrefoil motif incorporating the Cross of the Order of Christ, rendered in a bold, ornamental manner evocative of medieval Portuguese heraldic art. To the upper right appears the Portuguese royal shield (quinas), and to the upper left a radiant sunburst symbol associated with the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route. Along the lower arc runs the legend '2025 PORTUGAL 7,5 €', while the engraver's signature 'ISABEL C. – F. BRANCO' is inscribed vertically at the left, and 'CASA DA MOEDA' at the right. |
