| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Equatorial Guinea occupies the central field, depicting a silver shield charged with a silk-cotton tree (Ceiba pentandra) above a ribbon bearing the national motto 'UNIDAD PAZ JUSTICIA'. Six six-pointed stars arc across the upper portion of the shield. The date is divided either side of the shield, '19' to the left and '95' to the right.
