| Obverse description | Central field features the heraldic shield of the canton of Neuchâtel, divided per pale with a diagonal band on the dexter side and a small cross on the sinister side. The legend NEUCHÂTEL arcs along the upper rim, and the date 1815 appears in the lower field. The octagonal border is decorated with a repeating geometric chevron pattern in relief. |
