Reverse description Two sinuous imperial dragons rendered in high relief flank the central square hole, their bodies coiling symmetrically on either side in mirror opposition. The dragons face each other across the aperture, their scaled bodies and clawed feet finely detailed, tails curling downward toward the lower field. A flaming cloud or floral motif appears above the square hole between the dragons' heads, and an additional cloud formation is depicted below, filling the lower field. The composition is enclosed by a plain raised rim, and the overall design reflects the refined artistic conventions of the Nguyễn dynasty court.
