| Reverse description | Elaborate crowned and helmeted achievement of arms of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, comprising a multi-quartered shield displaying the dynastic quarterings of Brunswick, Lüneburg, Westphalia, and associated territories, surmounted by multiple crested helms with ornate mantling and topped by the Brunswick horse passant. Two wild men (Salvator figures), each holding an uprooted tree, serve as supporters to the left and right of the shield. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the circumferential Latin legend reading: DEO ET PATRIAE ANNO DOMINI M DC XX 7, separated by rosette stops, recording the date 1620 and the denomination of 7 thalers. |
