| Obverse description | Full-length facing figure of Archduke Sigismund of Austria, clad in armor and wearing a crown, holding a scepter in his right hand and resting his left hand upon a shield bearing the Austrian arms. To the left stands the Habsburg eagle shield, and to the right appears the eagle of Tyrol. The effigy is rendered in the late Gothic style characteristic of the Hall Mint, with elaborate decorative detail in the armor and drapery. A beaded inner border frames the central design, with the Latin legend running along the outer periphery. |
