| Obverse description | Within an oval flan, the Turkish crescent and star emblem appears at the top of the field. Below it, the legend 'TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ' is inscribed in two lines across the centre, followed by the denomination '7.500.000 LİRA' and the date '2002'. Flanking the lower portion of the inscriptions are decorative sprigs: a stylised wheat ear to the left and an olive branch to the right, their stems crossing at the base. The mint mark of the Turkish State Mint (Darphane) is positioned centrally below the date. |
