| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Pedro I facing left, with curly hair bound by a laurel wreath and a ribbon tie at the nape, rendered in a neoclassical style engraved by Zeferino Ferrez. The effigy is set within a plain field, bordered by a finely toothed inner rim.
