Obverse descriptionCrowned and armored half-figure of King Karl IX facing right, holding a raised sword in right hand and a shield with Greater Arms of Sweden (Three crowns of Sweden in first and fourth quadrant; Folkungs Lion in second and third; smaller shield with Vasa Arms in center) in the left. King is inside a circle with King`s motto on inner side of ring and legend in the outer with date at end. Radiant name of Jehovah in hebrew above King`s head.
