Obverse description Central field features the numeral value enclosed within a raised circular ring, surrounded by a thick circular Arabic legend naming Sultan Al-Ghazi Abdulmecid Khan, all rendered in bold, deeply struck script. The entire central device is framed by a wreath of palm or olive branches extending around the full perimeter of the coin. The composition is densely arranged, with the calligraphic legend filling the field between the central circle and the wreath border in a characteristic Ottoman-Tunisian style.
