Obverse description Full-length figure of Sant'Ambrogio in high relief, facing front, vested in episcopal chasuble and holding a crozier in his right hand and a whip in his raised left hand, standing atop an eagle. Two bank building facades are depicted in the background field, with the dates 1896 and 1956 inscribed in the lower field. The border is composed of a raised beaded rim.

Reverse description The central field bears a multi-line inscription in raised relief, surrounded by a wreath of pomegranate branches. Six heraldic shields arranged around the wreath represent the cities of Milan, Turin, Venice, Rome, Genoa, and Bologna. A small five-pointed star appears below the inscription. The maker's signature 'S. JOHNSON E SINC' is inscribed at the lower right, with a beaded border encircling the entire design.
