| Obverse description | Printed in violet-mauve on cream paper, the obverse carries a central photographic-style landscape vignette of the town of Admont with Admont Abbey visible in the middle ground and the Buchstein massif rising steeply behind it, captioned within the image 'Admont m.d. Buchstein'. | Reverse description | Printed in dark red-brown on cream paper, the reverse is divided into an upper text panel and a lower signature zone. The upper section contains two oval vignettes — a chamois on a rocky alpine ledge at left, and a cellar scene with a bottle and glasses at right — flanking a central block of two German-language verses attributed to R. Baumbach and Mayer respectively. Below, a four-line rhyming couplet encouraging collectors to retain the note rather than circulate it runs across the full width, followed by the place and date inscription 'Admont, Steiermark, im November 1920' and the designer's credit 'H Steger'. A panoramic alpine mountain silhouette underprint spans the lower zone, above which three facsimile manuscript signatures appear over their respective printed titles: Bürgermeister, Bürgermeister-Stellvertreter, and Zahlmeister. A final two-line legal notice at the very foot states the note was issued for collector purposes only and would not be redeemed. |

Admont is best known as the site of the Benedictine monastery whose baroque library is among the most photographed interiors in Central Europe — yet in 1920 the market town itself was reduced to printing its own emergency currency because the postwar Austrian state simply could not supply enough small-denomination coin. These Heller notes are Notgeld in the strictest sense: locally authorized, locally printed, locally redeemed, and essentially worthless beyond the parish boundary.
The JPR0006c designation within the Jaksc catalogue indicates this is one of several Admont Heller values from the same 1920 series, all bearing the same three-signature authorization. Steger's involvement as designer suggests some deliberate local pride in the artwork — Admont's Notgeld is generally better composed than the plain typed slips issued by smaller Styrian communes that same year.
