Austrian Notgeld issued by the parish commune of Hart — almost certainly Hart bei Graz in Styria — during the severe coin shortage that gripped Austria in the immediate postwar years. The national government's inability to supply small-denomination coinage forced thousands of municipalities, down to the village level, to print their own emergency fractional notes between roughly 1919 and 1921. Hart's issue is among the more obscure, with Erssl signing as the local authority responsible for guaranteeing redemption.

The 60-Heller denomination is slightly unusual — most commune issues favored 10, 20, or 50 Heller — suggesting Hart calibrated its issue to local pricing needs rather than following the common pattern.
