| Additional information |
The "6th Portrait" designation refers to the Jody Clark effigy of Elizabeth II, introduced in 2015 and used on Commonwealth coinage until her death in September 2022. This piece, dated 2023, was therefore struck posthumously — one of the final issues to carry her likeness under Perth Mint's existing die authorization rather than transitioning to Charles III. Perth's antiqued silver finish involves a chemical patination process applied after striking to suppress luster and accentuate relief depth, a technique the mint has refined across its high-relief kilo-and-above program since the early 2010s.
At two kilograms, production runs for pieces in this class rarely exceed a few hundred units globally.
