Obverse description Square klippe flan struck with a circular die, bearing the Silesian eagle displayed within a beaded inner circle. The eagle is depicted with spread wings and an ornate breast shield, rendered in the vigorous late-Renaissance style characteristic of early 17th-century Silesian coinage. The date 1621 appears divided in the field to either side of the eagle, with the mintmaster's initial H visible below. The circular legend reads MONETA·ARGENTIAE·SILESIAE·SEX·TALARO· surrounding the central device, all contained within a beaded border. Two mintmark punches are visible on the flat klippe margins at the top and bottom corners of the square flan.
