Obverse description Equestrian portrait of Duke Georg of Brunswick-Lüneburg facing right, depicted in full armour and mounted on a prancing horse, holding a baton or marshal's staff aloft in his right hand. In the lower field beneath the horse, a detailed panoramic view of Harz mining operations is rendered, including mine shafts, buildings, and figures of miners at work, alluding to the Ausbeute (mining yield) origin of the silver. The entire composition is framed within a beaded inner border, with the circumferential legend reading VON GOTTES GNADEN GEORG HERTZOG ZU BRAUNSVEIG UND LUNAEB in Latin script along the outer rim.

Reverse description Elaborately rendered quartered coat of arms of Brunswick-Lüneburg, surmounted by multiple crested helms with ornate mantling, flanked by two wild men (Wildmänner) as supporters standing on scrollwork, the whole achievement executed in fine relief typical of large Löser coinage. Above the shield, the crowned crests include the horse of Westphalia and further heraldic devices. The circumferential legend in Latin script reads HS AUF GOTT TRAW ICH, with the date ANNO MDCXXXVIII and the initials IH completing the inscription, the date also appearing on the left field of the coin.
